Regarding the bulk density of silica gel, there are advantages and disadvantages for both high density,   and there is no absolute "good" or "bad" answer. The following is a detailed analysis of the high bulk density of silica gel:

High bulk density:

Advantages: Higher bulk density means more silica gel particles can be accommodated in the same volume of space, thus improving the efficiency of storage and transportation.

The particles of high packing density silicone are closer together, which can reduce the presence of voids and air, helping to maintain the stability of silicone and prevent agglomeration. For some applications that require high-density filling, such as sealing materials, shock-absorbing materials, etc., high-packing density silicone may be more suitable.

Disadvantages: High bulk density may reduce the fluidity of silicone, making it more difficult to handle and use.

In some applications where rapid drying or adsorption is required, high bulk density silicones may not work as well as low bulk density silicones, which have a larger specific surface area and better gas permeability.
